Merax Twin-Over-Full Bunk Bed with Storage Drawers & Guardrail - Convertible to 2 Beds for Kids & Teens Rooms

Just got this bed in and we set it up right away for our boys. It was a smooth and easy process. The grey is a cool ash or chalk grey. My boys love it and we do too. The top bunk isn’t super high so for short ceilings it’s perfect. He still has a lot of room up top to move around without having to worry about hitting his head. Definitely would recommend again. Non of the wood was damaged or anything.Bed is very very nice... the only thing i dont like is that the wooden slacks dont look safe nor sturdy....im going to get more slacks to make it more safe because one blop down on these beds this wood will break and you cant be to careful with the kids.....safety firstunfinished blocks of wood showing, why would you ever want that to show?stickers do not come off! I tried and tried. why place stickers on areas that willshow once it is complete? Makes the beds look cheap!WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN!!!!I like that this bed is white and not off white so it matched the dresser. Took my husband about 2 hours to assemble. He only needed my help holding a piece on one end so he could assemble or put screws on the other side. First thing we did was organize all pieces in alphabetical order. The instructions were very clear, so if you follow them exactly, it will turn out great! We also liked that the bid has more slats than other beds I looked at . It also has extra pieces that add extra sturdiness which have us piece of mind that it was safe and solid. We’re very happy with this purchase.I was hesitant to order another bunkbed online as my previous experience came with no instructions as well as damaged and missing or unmarked parts. But this was a completely different brand and I was very excited when I dug through box and discovered instructions. There were no damages or missing parts and everything was clearly labeled! Everything is solid wood and sturdy. My only caution is that there are NO EXTRA PIECES. Luckily I did everything correctly because I shocked to see that they left no room for error. Other than that great buy!This bunk bed was a little harder to put together BUT the way it connected made it sturdy. (So we thought) BUT this past weekend my youngest daughter was asleep on the top bunk bed & it literally snapped & she fell through to the bottom bed. I was so grateful that my other daughter was in the shower because this could’ve been a serious situation for our family...Ordered this for my 2 small kids. My dad put it together in about 1.5 hours and it was more sturdy then I thought it would be. One improvement they can make is to have a removable ladder. My toddler sleeps on the bottom and she does try to go up all the time when they’re playing!
